Last tuesday Adrian completed his last pre-season test before the season's kick off in Melbourne.

His new car VJM02 shows a complete new design and is equipped with a new Mercedes engine as well. Additional to the engine the McLaren-Mercedes team supplies the Force India Team from 2009 on with gearboxes and other elements. Adrian and Force India expect by the new technical partnership with the Lewis Hamilton's team big steps for the improvement of the new car.


And Adrian's impressions are quite positive after 1,000 trouble-free km at the test session in Barcelona: "We could do a lot of running again today, which was the main aim of the programme. I feel a lot more confident in the car now we have got some reliability and can start to look at different set-ups and making the tyres work. We know we have a lot of work to do, particularly with the tyres as we still struggle to bring them in, but we now have a good idea of how the car is behaving. I'm looking forward to Melbourne now."
